The Legend of the Master Survivor
Hippocrates

Asteria

The foundations of the civilized world were built upon the intellectual labor of the ancient Greeks, who developed the core principles of math, science, and medicine. Unlike other ancient civilizations that viewed illness as a religious or supernatural occurrence, Greek doctors began to explore the possibility that medicine and religion were separate entities. This shift in thought replaced the focus on repelling evil spirits with a search for physical cures.
The Legacy of Hippocrates
At the heart of this medical revolution was Hippocrates, a Greek doctor born on the island of Kos in the 5th century BCE. Often credited as the founder of modern medicine, Hippocrates suggested that illness was not a punishment from the gods, but rather a result of how or where a person lived. He established the first school of medicine, where he emphasized systematic investigation, careful attention, and the belief that the body should be treated as a whole.
Though modern scholars debate which specific texts he authored, his influence survives through the Hippocratic Corpus and the famous Hippocratic Oath. Today, the Master Survivor Program and Master Survivor University seek to preserve these ancient teachings, which Dr. Johnny believes have been forgotten by many modern practitioners. The Master Survivor University Seal even bears his timeless philosophy: “First do no harm, cure sometimes, treat often and comfort always”.

The Esoteric Connection: A Divine Lesson
The "Legend of the Master Survivor" transcends historical facts and enters the realm of the esoteric. Dr. Johnny reveals that his dedication to these teachings stems from profound encounters with Hippocrates on the astral plane. In these dreams, Hippocrates guided Dr. Johnny through difficult patient recoveries.
Recently during one important natural healing lesson Asteria, the Goddess of Delos (who often took on the form of a bird) flew in to be a part of the conversation. Dr. Johnny saw only a bird, however the bird started speaking. Hippocrates knew it was Asteria and said “Why are you interrupting my lesson?’ She said “because you are missing the most important element; to complete true healing you need ‘Star Light’ and the union of energies of the universe.”
Hippocrates agreed and at that point the bird transformed into a beautiful woman. Dr. Johnny was captivated by the extraordinary event that was taking place and Hippocrates said “Asterie I did not know you are so beautiful!” Well Dr. Johnny’s healing lesson was over and Hippocrates continued, “I have been lost in a storm and now I need star light to find my way.” The years went by with more lessons for Dr. Johnny; Hippocrates love for Asterie grew so much but she was never around long enough for them to be together. He said “I have always been a Master Survivor but without you Asteria I am lost in this storm forever.”
Dr. Johnny woke up from his deep sleep of sickness and addiction to pursue a quest to start the vital mission of The Master Survivor Program, The Master Survivor University and The Master Survivor Radio Show to help stop the suffering in the world and help everyone naturally heal and find “Star Light” and connect with the energies of the universe.

Yes, the legend evolves with Dr. Johnny getting more lessons from Hippocrates. Asteria, the Goddess of Delos often appearing first as a bird but she always validated that physical medicine alone is incomplete. She reveals that true healing requires "Star Light" and the union of the energies of the universe. This spiritual realization transformed Dr. Johnny and his lessons, suggesting that even a "Master Survivor" like Hippocrates is lost without the light of universal energy, he is lost in a storm without Asteria showing him the way. Inspired by these experiences, Dr. Johnny emerged from his own struggles with sickness and addiction to launch a mission of natural healing for the world.
