The Thesis:

The book's central thesis is that the ultimate path to complete recovery and "survival" is achieved by rejecting conventional constraints and accessing "higher" knowledge. The author posits that the definitive methods for his recovery, including herbal combinations and health protocols, were downloaded directly into his mind during an extraterrestrial encounter. The author states that he later cross-referenced this information and found it to be true. His success in overcoming three "curses on mankind" is proof of this unconventional method.

The Journey:

The author, who was serving as Chairman of Davenport Laboratories, began using cocaine to combat the fatigue from his unknown Hepatitis C infection. The alien abduction occurred in December 1989, where he was transported to a Mother Ship orbiting the Moon.

• The Encounter: During the experience, he was designated a "309" by military personnel, a classification for individuals using less than three drugs with no prior arrests. He was subjected to an Alien Mind Meld (or Group Mind experience) with a Grey alien.
