Hepatitis C, CURED (PDF)
Hepatitis C, CURED is an anecdotal health memoir based on the true experiences of author Johnny Delirious, chronicling his battle against the Hepatitis C virus and his ultimate success in eliminating it using exclusively natural and alternative therapies.
The book begins with the author's devastating diagnosis in 1997: he was told he had only eight months to live and that his liver was ravaged by cirrhosis, with only 4% of the tissue remaining scar-tissue free. The conventional medical advice was to immediately seek a liver transplant. The author, however, was wary of the procedure, noting the five-year survival rate of transplant recipients and stating, "I simply saw it as a sure way to find myself dead in five years".
The Thesis and Journey:
The central thesis of the book is the efficacy of a comprehensive, disciplined natural approach when facing a terminal diagnosis. Delirious rejects the transplant and drug cocktails, instead embarking on an intensive, self-researched regimen of alternative therapies.
His multifaceted approach included:
- Radical Detoxification: Implementing cleanses and Gerson Therapy protocols, including high colonic coffee enemas.
- Electronic Therapies: Utilizing devices such as the "Zapper" (based on Dr. Hulda Clark's parasite theories) and the Rife machine (using oscillating frequencies).
- Diet and Supplements: Strict adherence to a purist, nutrient-dense diet, supplemented with natural compounds like milk thistle (Silymarin), and later adding organic meat to rebuild liver cells.
- Oxygenation: Undergoing intensive hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
- Physical and Mental Health: Training rigorously in Kung Fu and running, eventually preparing for a marathon, alongside mental support from Alcoholics Anonymous and a hepatitis support group.
The book culminates with the author's blood test results: the viral load that was once over 5 million was now "None Detected," indicating the complete eradication of the Hepatitis C virus.
